QHR ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF CHARTCARE INC.

KELOWNA, December 8, 2009 – QHR Technologies Inc. (TSX-Venture: QHR) announced today that they have completed the acquisition of 100% of the Class A common voting shares and approximately 19.5% of the Class B common non-voting shares of CLINICARE Corporation (parent of CHARTCARE Inc.).  QHR now owns approximately 79% of the total issued and outstanding shares of Clinicare, so change of control has occurred.

Optimed Software Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of QHR that develops and markets Accuro® EMR.  Combining CLINICARE’s EMR physician base with Optimed’s base has made Optimed one of Canada's leading EMR companies. Optimed now supports over 3,000 physicians across Canada, with over 2,000 Canadian physicians utilizing an Optimed EMR.  Optimed is now Canada’s largest EMR vendor, based on installed Canadian physicians.
