Dr-InBasket - Lab Results, Messaging and To-Do's

Throughout the day, a physician is frequently in patient consultation or otherwise not available to other staff in the practice, making it difficult to communicate information. CHARTCARE's Dr-InBasket enhances communication and increases productivity for both the physician and clinical staff by eliminating bottle-necks in the regular flow of information. Now, from any examination room or office with a workstation, or from any remotely connected PC (e.g. at home), physicians are able to quickly address issues that have come up while they were occupied.

Like all CHARTCARE applications, the Dr-InBasket is quick and easy to use - one keystroke brings you directly to the patient information and the portion of the chart (category) that has been updated. On the fly, the Dr-InBasket allows the physician to send reminders, request information, or forward additional instructions to individual members of the team. And, through optional enhancements to CHARTCARE's LabTrack and CMR modules, the Doctor's assistant can send an immediate notification to the physician without changing or interrupting the physician's work flow.
