PatReg 1.2 - New Features

CHARTCARE's Patient Registration application enables care providers to store patient-specific data, especially demographics, for retrieval using a wide variety of search options from many points within CHARTCARE's 'Chartless' Medical Solution.

Version 1.2 of Patient Registration has a number of exciting new features geared towards improved access to Patient Demographic information. Patient Registration impacts all of the other CHARTCARE Applications as they deal with this new, expanded, Patient Master file.

PATIENT MASTER EXPANSION

• The Patient ID (Chart Number) has been expanded to allow 8 digits.
• Unlimited practice-defined Alert Types with 10 lines of 72 characters each for associated descriptions
• Alternate Patient ID's (employer numbers, prisoner numbers, etc.).
• Additional telephone numbers and addresses.
• Alternate Patient Names (a Patient may have many Aliases) 98 lines of Footnotes (72 characters per line ).
• Unlimited Contacts (parents, neighbors, etc.).
• 3 Miscellaneous Code Classes per Patient; with unlimited Classes per Clinic and unlimited
• 3 character Codes per Class. Special "CT" (Chart Status) Code can be edited easily, and may be displayed in a Patient Search from most modules.

Improved field input/editing and screen navigation (Function Keys) have also been implemented.

SEARCH FEATURES

Patient Lookup capability has been expanded to include search by:

• Aliases (included in name search)
• Date of Birth
• Telephone Numbers
• Sound of Name (Soundex)
• Previous Insurance Number
• Alternate ID's

Search Display includes Patients' Chart History, D.O.B, Sex, Phone Number, and Usual Doctor; it also allows direct access to Billing History.
